In a site-specific performance created especially for Hall 6, dancer Andrea Nagl physically inscribes herself into the space and thus brings the exhibited objects to life, as it were, lending them a poetic (non-verbal) language.
Like events in the history of the earth, fragments of dance or moving artifacts flash up in one place and then disappear again. The fleeting nature of dance not only reflects the transience, the becoming and passing of all living things, but also of all surface forms on our planet.
Digital tools such as AR artifacts expand the spatio-temporal boundaries and thus enable a multi-layered experience.
The event can be attended with a valid ticket. For more information on admission tickets for the Natural History Museum Vienna, click here.
