SHORT BIO
Lukas Amacher. As Artistic Director of the 1OF1 collection, Lukas Amacher runs one of the premier NFT enabled digital art collections in the world. 1OF1 takes an activist approach to the work it collects, supporting forward thinking artists and institutions at the cutting edge of art in the digital age. Works from the 1OF1 collection have recently been involved in projects with Castello di Rivoli in Italy, the MoMA and Crystal Bridges in the US, M+ in Hong Kong and are continuously available online.
Konrad Breznik, COO and Executive Director at Hauser & Wirth, has implemented the largest expansion phase within the 30-year existence of the art gallery in the last 5 years. Under his leadership, the gallery expanded rapidly, with 8 new locations in 5 countries on 3 continents.
Breznik is distinguished by his ability to drive operational excellence, articulate strategic vision, and continually evolve the company. With his commitment to quality, efficiency and growth, he has helped Hauser & Wirth become the leading name in the art world.
Lindsay Dewar is the Head of Analytics at ArtTactic and has been with the company since 2017. Leading the analytics and research team, she is responsible for developing research and products. She also runs the mentoring and internship programmes. Lindsay regularly speaks about the art market on panels and gives lectures at Kington University on the MA Art Business course. She also is an active member of the Association of Women in the Arts (AWITA).
Her art world experience includes emerging Contemporary art galleries, art advisories and valuation companies, as well as various art research positions. She holds a Masters in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and a Masters in Art Market Appraisal from Kingston University.
Ursula Krinzinger opened her first gallery in Bregenz in 1971, after studying art history and archaeology in Vienna, Paris, and London. In 1972 the gallery moved to Innsbruck and since 1986 it is located in Vienna. In 2002 Ursula Krinzinger opened the Krinzinger Project House as an experimental exhibition space and as the first of four Artist in Residency locations. Since then the committed gallery owner has organized the Krinzinger Residencies with further studios in Hungary, Sri Lanka, and Croatia.
Ursula Krinzinger has drawn international acclaim with her presentations on Viennese Actionism and as a pioneer on showing performance and body related art and her early focus on feminist art, starting in 1975. In her career she initiated and curated numerous group exhibitions e.g. Zur Situation und Kreativität der Frau (1975), Artist Festival in Brdo (1976), Performance Festival in Vienna (her idea and concept 1978), Zur Definition eines neuen Kunstbegriffs (1979), Neue Strategien NYC I (1986), Manierismus subjektiv (1987), Fluxus subjektiv (1990), LAX (1992), UK Maximum Diversity (1998), Berlin Binnendifferenz (2000), post_modellismus (2005), curated by_ (2009–2023), to a passer by (2019), and a great number of renowned Solo Exhibitions with international artists represented by the gallery such as Marina Abramović, Kader Attia, Chris Burden, Atelier van Lieshout, Gottfried Bechtold, Chris Burden, Monica Bonvicini, Günther Brus, Angela de la Cruz, Zhang Ding, Secundino Hernández, Waqas Khan, Brigitte Kowanz, Maha Malluh, Jonathan Meese, Otto Mühl, Hans Op de Beeck, Meret Oppenheim, Eva Schlegel, Mithu Sen, Sudarshan Shetty, Rudolf Schwarzkogler, Daniel Spoerri, Gavin Turk, Erik van Lieshout, Martin Walde, Mark Wallinger, Zhang Wei, Lois Weinberger, Thomas Zipp. Since the first participation at Art Basel in 1972 Galerie Krinzinger shows an exceptional history of presentations at the most renowned global Art Fairs. Ursula Krinzinger is a committee member in the most important art fairs in the world – Art Basel, Art Basel Miami, Fiac, Arco, Art Dubai (still now), Vienna contemporary (still now). In 2004 Ursula Krinzinger was awarded the OscART (Vienna Art Award) in 2007, the Austrian Ehrenkreuz for science and art. In the same year she received the Chevalier d’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in France and in 2016 the Tiroler Adler-Orden in Gold.
